Comments: I never feel good at this race. My time was decent for me, but I just didn't have any energy. Started too far back in the pack. Last year I was finishing in the top 25%, so I got in the habit of starting about 1/3 of the way back. The start is on fairly narrow roads, and I got caught up behind some slower runners. Not their fault, I should have started closer to the front. The last half mile or so is on a slight incline that kills me every time. I really need to find a hill to run up every once in a while. What would you do differently?: Start closer to the front. Train on hills. Post race

Didn't get much sleep the night before. My mom fell and hurt her back on Friday. I went to their house to help my dad get her out of the car and into bed when they got back from the hospital. Not a lot of fun. Didn't get home until 1:30 am, only got 4 hours of sleep.
Jogged for about 5 minutes, light stretching.
