I don't like Rachael Ray (Page 3)

I will say, I do like $40 a day. Not for her or her same 'mmmm' when she tries everything, but I like to see the cities she visits and keep the spots in mind when I travel. I like to see the places I've been too. Thats neat.

Lord, Rachael Ray makes me want to claw my eyes out.  That voice of hers is like a thousand fingernails on a chalkboard.  Do she and most of the sportscasters in the world not realize that it isn't necessary to shout constantly?  Those microphones are plenty sensitive. 

I'll second the votes for Giada.  It does annoy me that she over-pronounces any Italian word but her food's awesome, she's gorgeous, and the camera work and editing on her show is simply beautiful. 

The one who really creeps me out is Mario Batali.  I'm sure hes as much an Italian food expert as we're led to believe but he just is one nasty looking dude.  He's also partly to blame for the popularity of Crocs.  Great shoes for gardening, great for chefs, docs, nurses and others who're on their feet all day and need an orthotic type shoe.  They are not, however, great for your morning Starbucks run.  <here come the flames >

I do not understand why Rachael Ray being clumsy and incoherent is somehow endearing to people.  It's television, the beauties of which are editing and second takes.  There are enough messy, blubbering bimbos in my real life.  On TV, I want perfection.

While I do agree that Giada over-pronounces Italian words as if her viewers are watching during snack time down at the pre-K, I still like her, and the fact that most of her recipes involve actual food instead of packaged, processed crap.  Ahem, Ray Ray...

Mario is just gross.  He always looks unkempt and somehow does not understand that fried eggs made in the traditional style of a geographically obscure region in Italy not featured in Lonely Planet travel guides are still, well, fried eggs.

I'm not sure if anyone cares but on November 12 at 9pm (est) there's a battle on Iron Chef America between Giada and Rachel. They're paired with Bobby Flay and Mario Batali to make it one big Celebrity battle. Should be pretty good.

Oh, and I also hate that everytime Rachel says EVOO she has to say what it means. SO ANNOYING! After the first time just say the EVOO and keep going.

Oh! That will be good! I bet its going to KILL Rachael to not 'host' the show. They're too busy cooking to talk!

I am there, rumor is that Giada and Rachel will be in bikinis.
