Subject: New Balance Shoes

(Should be in the gear forum, but more people will see it here.)

 

Anyone familiar with the way NB updates their product lines? I currently wear NB 717 but they aren't manufactured anymore.

 

Any idea what the replacement model number is?

The way that NB usually updates their product line is adding one to the previous model number (ie  from 766 to 767 for example).  I'd go to your local running store and try on the new model (which is now 719 - I'm guessing that there was a 718 before).  It could be an improvement for you but it also may not be.  If you don't like the new one or stick to what you already have, roadrunnersports for example, sells the old model number of a lot of shoes.
