Hi all,

I'm new to this running thing and now know I need to find some properly fitted running shoe after wrecking my back and knees this past weekend in from what I've learned are "NOT " the right shoe for me.

I'm living in the wayne/westland area and really need to find someplace to get properly fitted. Any and all help will be appreaciated.

Thank you in advance.

I like the Running Fit store in Ann Arbor. They will check out your feet, your stance and any problem with knees, hips etc that you have then recommend some shoes.

There is also a running fit in Novi where I presume they do the same type of fitting.

I am in Nevada so not much help on a good store. Take the run easier at first, there is a big diff. between TM and real world.

I also highly recommend taking the "Running Fit 101" class... sounds dumb, a class to teach you to run, huh? It is a great class for a newbie runner. The guest speakers alone are worth the price of admission.

The guys at the Hanson's stores are really good at fitting you with a good shoe.
