I usually guage myself by how my clothes fit too and was feeling like I had really slimmed down since beginning of last summer, but those pics from Hyannis have me really feeling like a cow. I know Ihad lots of layers on and my pockets stuffed with GU and the fuel belt and the damn hat, but gosh!

Pam, you are not a cow, so stuff a sock in it. Cows can't run marathons.

MM, congrats on your weightloss, and please don't turn this thread into Penthouse Letters.

I weigh myself as little as possible, so I also go by how well my clothes are fitting, and right now they aren't. Last spring/summer I was wearing my smallest pant size since elementary school, and now they don't fit . So I am aiming to be back in them this spring.

Thanks MM! I really did slim down, but now I am gaining I think and I need to get a handle on it. I think adding back in more swimming and biking will make that happen… and… laying off the ice cream and cookies I was allowing myself with all the miles I was running.

I think the body adjusts to type of repetetive workouts you do and you don't burn as much as you think you are burning.

It's been a few days....

How's everyone doing? Are we behaving?

I've been doing pretty well, with the exception of an ice cream slip up on Sunday. It wasn't my idea, but I should have said no. I was down a pound last week, so we'll see what happens this week...

I'm a firm believer in allowing yourself a little slippage every now and then. It keeps you from going off the deepend

I'm still hangin' in there, even though I do get tempted at night. Still haven't jumped on the scale... Think I'll wait until 4/1 for that as I don't want to get too "depressed" about it.

Keep up the good work!!!

Its been going ok for me with few miss steps. I am most proud of the fact that i had chinese the other night at jimmy's and didnt have any chips and duck sauce. I ate veggies and fish which was pretty good, oh and half an egg roll

I am hopeful now that the hours increase the weight will come off.

The wife made tofurkey the other night..Warning Do NOT attempt to eat Tofurkey

I've been pretty good and haven't really indulged on anything at all yet. I did allow myself a cookie here and there (Fig Newtons are okay)

I still need to purchase a scale, but I am all in favor of not getting hung up on weighing myself all the time cuz it is unmotivating when you don't see numbers that reflect the changes that you feel.

Tofurkey sounds nasty. Why is Mrs MM so anti-meat now? Did PETA send her pictures or somethin?

Buy her a shot gun and send her out to kill meat for the family herself. Then she will know it's fresh and didn't live in it's own sh!t .
