Ok, Steve & Marcy, yall riding tomorrow? Where? Afternoon?

I'm up for something starting at Radio Shack or by the Zoo/Luke's Locker and riding down the trails.

I don't know where the Radio Shack is, but I do know where Luke's Locker is down by the zoo. I'll be that way tomorrow anyway to do a 5 mile recovery run and was wanting to ride anyway. I can bring the bike with me and just run before we ride.

What time?

How many miles?

What pace? (Can't be too fast on the trails - too many "speed bumps"

Radio Shack is to the east, downtown, the Radio Shack headquarters. There is a trail head there. I was thinking it might be easier for Steve and Marcy since you said they were going to ride. I don't want to take over their plans.

Time?: I don't care.

Miles?: I don't care.

Pace?: I already said I suck. And I'm riding on PowerCranks.

Sounds like a great idea!

We were just planning on riding the reverse course up here one day this weekend, but this sounds like more fun!

I guess we'll put off the reverse course until Monday afternoon.

I'm game wherever and whenever.......

Yeah...what Steve said!  Sounds great...

How about 1:00 at the place where Haley said

Distance - we can decide when we get there, or just ride till we are done

Pace - casual

Looking forward to it!

Edited again - Marcy was faster then me.

Let's go from the Trail Head near Radio Shack (0 mile marker) and head South West along the trail. The trail doesn't cross the river until 183, that's just over 9 miles. We can go out and back for a total of about 20 miles. I would suggest keeping the pace around 15mph, much faster and we will be hitting too many speed bumps. But, if we need to go slower, that is fine with me.

I plan on doing 5 to 6 miles prior to the ride. So I will start my run around noon if anyone wants to run with me before the ride.

That sounds good. Do you think Radio Shack will be too crowded at that time though? I've never started there, just ridden to there and turned around.  Distance sounds good.

I've run by that cul de sac many MANY times. Unless we have a large group show up there should be plenty of parking. Most of the other training groups I have seen (Luke's Locker, TnT, etc..) usually start around the University area, so we should be good starting from the Radio Shack locale.

I Googled it, and it looks like the location is at Radio Shack Circle at West Belknap.  Is that right?

How late? Aaron will be running up and down Radio Shack hill (the hill you go down to get to the parking lot). You can just ride and when you find us, just turn around and finish with us.

We're going to lunch after the ride as well, you're more than welcome to come!

It was a great ride today. It was really enjoyable meeting Aaron, Haley, Marcy, and Steve again today. I also enjoyed meeting with John and Marc. finally. I also enjoyed meeting you Ken (even if it was just for a little while). I apologize that I had to cut out so soon after the ride. This is my weekend for my daughter.

It was a really good turn-out and I would love to do it again. Let's look at doing it again sometime in January.

Let me know if you all do it again. I got a new bike for Christmas and I am ready to put some miles on it. We are in Colorado right now, but we are heading home in a couple of days. I have eaten WAY too much on vacation and haven't gotten near enough exercise!

good to put faces and names together....we can always flip-flop meeting places, meeting further North....We could have gone much longer South and into Benbrook Lake (Benbrook Tri site).  Good riding   Thanks for the invite.
