Subject: creating hotlinks

I'm putting together a long article for my mentor group and I want to insert a hotlink in the my discussion.  I don't want to just paste the URL into the article because it takes up too much space.  I've seen some people create a hotlink with just a single word and by clicking on the word it will take the reader to the desired site.

I tried looking in the HELP section but I'm too dumb to find the instructions.  Tips anyone???  Thanks.

First, make sure you have the 'TinyMCE' rich text editor configured in your control panel.

Then AFTER you have the text/word already typed out that you want to hyperlink, SELECT/HIGHLITE it and then hit the button in your editor.  You will then be able to copy/paste the URL into the first line for that word to be linked.
