Ok, heres a brain buster.

My wife is complaing that my bike is on the way and she is absolutely right.
She keeps telling me to hang it on the wall or the ceiling.

Has anyone done that before and perhaps you can share some pics or pointers,
how to build something on my ceiling so, that I can put my bike there, out of the way?

I have no idea how I should put my bike, so any help would be appretiated. And no, I cant take it outside and yes, we live on a tiny appartment

Thanks in advance

Wall hooks or ceiling hooks work great.  I use them in my garage, but they should work in an apt, too.   They also have some stands that lean against a wall if you aren't allowed to screw things into your walls.

Here's a bunch of options from nashbar.com

That "Big Hook" looks like the things that I use, though I think I got them at a hardware store for $2 a pop.

I have one of those off-the-wall storage deals from performancebike. It's basically a pole extending from the floor to the ceiling. It works well for long-term storage, but if I'm taking my bike in and out every day, then I prefer a wall hook (which I also got from performancebike). I live in a tiny apartment too. That's the main reason I don't like putting my bike on and off the off-the-wall thing all the time.

I've got a couple of these ceiling mounted pulley systems. They are pretty handy for me since I have 12 foot ceilings in the garage. Another plus is they don't tie up wall space which might not seem like a big deal until you need to move a bunch of crap to get to your bikes.
