This is on craigslist........seems like a decent price.....but I don't know how old this bike is.

It looks like a mid-90s epic. It has carbon tubes, but aluminum lugs. I'd be very cautious about buying a 10+yo carbon bike.

Could actually be early 90's. But, as you said, carbon tubes bonded to aluminum lugs. This isn't Specialized's first generation of such bikes, which DID have disbonding problems, but still...
