Polar Strap for S625x, can it be used w/ Polar CS 200 CAD

I actually had the same setup, but now I have a powertap. Anyway yes your heart rate strap will definatley work with the CS200, it will work with any codded polar product as well. One issue you may have is the speed sensor on the S625x is an "S" sensor. The CS200 uses a "C" sensor, I was able to interchange these without a problem even though the polar tech said it would not work.

I won't be using the speed sensor. That will stay on my road bike. Can't I get the speed from the 200 CAD and just use the strap to get hr? That way when I transition off of the bike my strap and watch will be on. Of course I won't use the watch for the hr if it is on the 200. sound right?

Ya that will all work exactly like you said. Only thing is that if you buy a CS200 then it comes with another heart rate strap. Guess you will have an extra. Another option is to get this

it comes without the heart rate strap and is a lot cheaper to. Of course you would have to still buy the cadance sensor if you want it and dont already have it.

That is cheap! So I can use the Hr strap and the CS 100 will show my HR or will I get it from my watch? I'd prefer to look at it on the computer. Just seems easier.

Your heart rate will show up on both. The difference between the CS100 and the CS200 is that the CS 200 stores 7 exercise files and the CS100 stores one. Other than that they are exactly the same. Incidently i still have my old cs200 if you want to make an offer.

I'm confused... Will the CS100 also show cadence if you get the cadence thingee?

Yes but you have to buy the cadence sensor seperatley, and make sure it is a "C" class cadence sensor and not an "S" class
