Subject: Leg Length vs Biking Cadence?
So, as I was trying to keep up on a more difficult Spinervals workout I started wondering why? Yep, my mind wanders when I am sitting on that darned trainer!

I am torso challenged, i.e., I am all legs and arms (makes me a little uncoordinated too). Does the length of your legs dictate how quickly you are able to pedal? Is it easier to spin at a higher rate if you have proportionately shorter legs?

I know leg strength and pedaling technique also factor into how fast your cadence is. Oh yeah, a proper bike fit is also a variable.

Just wondering if it could be a determining factor and if other adjustments can be made to aid the development of a quicker cadence? At some point we all max out on improvement based on physical ability and how mother nature put us together.
