2007 Hyner Trail Challenge

Hi all:
Just got back from Hyner Trail Challenge 2007. What a hoot. We have mountains here in Blair County that are almost as tall except it takes seven miles to reach the summet - NOT TWO! The weather couldn't have been better - a little crisp in the morning and warm by noon. Sun all day! Finished in 3hrs and 5min. - 24th overall. I thought I was way back in the pack until I talked to the guys at the hunting camp about 2mi. from the finish and they said only about 20 or so runners had passed. Some gazelle from Colorado came in first around 2hrs.! Will DEFINITELY do this one again next year. What a great run!
