Transition 1
Comments: rank 59/350 What would you do differently?: do the shoe on bike transition Bike
Transition 2
Comments: 193/350 need to get faster with getting shoes on What would you do differently?: practice transitions prior to race Run
Comments: Felt good, had plenty left at the end but since the closest competitor was too far ahead to catch I didn't push it in. What would you do differently?: Go out harder with more relaxed breathing. Post race
Warm down: Light walk and stretch, stuck around for the awards because I got 2nd in 25-29 age group, then went home and went MTBing. What limited your ability to perform faster: my lack of ability in the swim and my lack of practice in the transition areas Event comments: The lake was terrible, and the race started late (due to logistical problems - limited parking made for athletes checking in late), but after it got started all was good. It was not a USAT sanctioned event, and the drafting rules were not enforced, which kindof upset me. I liked the race/course enough to highly consider doing it again next year.
