Subject: Xterra race: Camelbak or Water Bottle?

I'm doing my first Xterra race in 2 weeks and am trying to decide between using a water bottle or strapping my Camelbak on/off during transitions. I'm guessing the (12.5 mi) ride will take me between an hour and 1:15 or so. When I road ride, I use water bottles but when I mountain bike I am absolutely most comfortable with my Camelbak. Really, I think the extra 15 seconds it will take me during T1 & T2 will be worth the comfort...

Thoughts from the BT wisdom??? Any other previous Xterra racers know what is most common?

I did the Muddy Buddy the with a camelbak on the whole way, so I'm all in favor of that. What ever you'll use the most is your best bet.

I have begun my training for my first Xterra in August and am in favor of the camelback. I have started running and riding with it and really like have more than enough fluid than needed. I also use straight water and use it occasionally to douse my head with water to help stay cool. I also prefer the run with out my running bottle. I like have my hands free.
