Bike fitting is probably the most important thing you can do other than train. A proper fit will make sure your well positioned on your bike, and that you feel good during your ride. If you feel good you'll want to ride, and if you ride you'll get faster, so very important.

Most bike stores in winnipeg have bike fitters, but I would recommend bikes and beyond (as a tri manitoba member you get a discount there too).

Make an appointement and bring your bike, shoes and your riding gear (to hard to fit wearing jeans.)

If you have bars make sure they are on your bike because you want that fitted too.

Good luck.. btw are you racing Birdhills tri?

I did 3 of the bhp du's, I will be duing the sprint du at the triple threat tri.

I ended up talking to Phil at Bikes and Beyond a couple of weeks ago, I had purchased both my recumbents off him over the years. He fit me up...I shaved approx 4 minutes off my first bike time. Pretty amazing considering the weather we had for the last one!

Are you a triple threat member?

You shaved 4 minutes that is AWESOME!!!! Your going to be a machine at all the races.

i'm sure your just going to hammer the race course at the sprint. i'll be on the sidelines cheering everyone on.. as I need to volunteer at the race.

Yes I'm a triple Threat member!
