The swim went well until the last leg where the sun glare kept me from seeing where I was going. Just had to follow the masses in front of me.

the 25 mile course turned out to be about 26.5 miles. I was expecting huge hills, there were hills and a bit of wind, but it was not as bad as I thought

This was my first oly and it felt dang good to have finished it. But I was hoping to finish under 3hrs 15 min. I did it in 3hrs 22min. Oh well the pride of completing the race is much greater than the disapointing times. I could have gone a little bit quicker. I wanted to pace myself for a steady race and get a feel for the olympic distance. Now that it's over I realize I could have pushed a bit harder.

Great race. You might want to fix wour bike distance, it's in kilometers. Looks like you went 12 mph instead of 18!

Killer race. Again, it was great to meet you and Kristina. Having a friend at each of the events this summer just made it all the better. I look forward to our Mock Tri Oct 2 and hope to see you on Thanksgiving for the Atlanta Half Marathon.
