I haven't done that route either, but thought I'd give you some info on the KCM stuff. I just heard at the ride today that they have been having some problems with the email distribution (stuff getting kicked back). Joel said he would be sending out a new email tonight, so if you don't get it, I'd either write directly to him or the KCM webmaster (whoever that is). You can always just show up to one of the rides. I went to my first tonight, and it was a lot of fun. There were probably 30 people there @ SMP. Everyone's really friendly... just show up sometime, and introduce yourself. Just look for the bright orange KCM jerseys - probably half the people will be wearing them. (and you can pick yours up then, too)

Just FYI: the basic schedule for group rides is on the website. For the rest of the Spring/Summer, we'll be out at Shawnee Mission Park every Thursday evening, and there is always a group ride somewhere Saturday mornings. I'd check the website for more details:

I'm sure they have varying distances and speeds for those Saturday rides, but couldn't tell you more since I haven't been on one yet.

I'll be back in Masters this week...just slacking. I was coopted into our corporate challenge tri on 6/10, so need to get some time in. Anyone thinking about Tin Man on 6/16?
