I was going to since it's like 5 min from my house. BUT, I'm just WAY too scared I'll roll an ankle and screw myself for my tri's coming up. If the trail were a little less rough, I'd totally do it.

You were prophetic...rolled my ankle but still finished.  I'm going to stay off it for a few days.  Fun race - i would do it again.

I heard it was a mess. Attendance doubled from last year and from what I hear the promoter wasnt ready for it. The trails were superclogged

Yes, attendence doubled.  I wouldn't call it a mess -- it was busy, but it was a trail run in a major metropolitan city on mostly singletrack.  You can't really expect solitude.

It was for a good cause.  Anyone who complained is probably the kidn of person that just needs something to complain about.
