Good swim. Didn't push and finished faster than expected.

First time I tried to start with shoes on bike. Although I practiced it didn't work out well. Right shoe - the tongue went down into shoe and one strap came out. Left shoe - 2 straps came out of shoe. Had trouble getting shirt on.
What would you do differently?:

Get different shoes for triathlons. Either wear shirt during swim or go without one.

Rode hard but disappointed with overall time. I think my cadence was too fast. Usually I am about 85 and race was closer to 92.

Slower cadence and higher gear. Practice hills before race.
