| New user 2 | Subject: RE: Anyone in NWA? NWA is a great place to raise a family, and I have travelled all over the US. I live in NWA and am VERY new to the sport. I just raced in the Shark Sprint Triathlon here in Rogers last weekend...my first. There is also another Tri club in NWA call the Northwest Arkansas Triathletes. I understand they are a newer club but have around 70 members. I saw many of them at the race. They are at nwatriathletes.com. Good Luck! |

| 1 | Subject: RE: Anyone in NWA? hey i am ron schmidt, myself and three other seasoned triathletes started the Northwest Arkansas Triathlon Team. we are up to 80 members in our first year-still working out the kinks but have a good thing going so far. most are new or short course athletes but we do have a sizable group doing 1/2 and full Ironman events. please goto www.nwatriathletes.com we are an official USAT triathlon club, and are part of the the SMW region of USA triathlon. we are in second place among clubs of our size, and when we go to a race our numbers are a sight to see. | New user 63 | Subject: RE: Anyone in NWA? Hey there... I'm a total triathlete newbie living in NWA (Rogers). I haven't joined the club yet but I'm seriously thinking about it. I have my eye on a few local triathlons next spring, and if I manage to stick with my training through this fall/winter, I'll definitely join up. As for NWA . . . in my line of work, we could have moved to literally almost any medium/large metro area in the entire country, and we chose NWA above all the other options. For the active, outdoors-oriented person I honestly don't believe there is a better place to live. We've been here 2.5 years now, and we love it every bit as much as we thought we would.
