Swim
Comments: VERY choppy and wavy. Difficult to sight and went way off course several times. Actually got a little disoriented and a little seasick it was so rough. One of the toughest swims I've been in. What would you do differently?: Better job of sighting. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: I'm pretty happy with transitions. Bike
Comments: Did much better than I expected. Could feel the calf the whole time but didn't seem to slow me down too much. What would you do differently?: I was happy with anything I could get. Transition 2
Comments: Very happy with the transitions. Just started competing completely sockless last race and it seems to be okay so far. Run
Comments: Calf pain didn't slow me down as much as I thought it would. The hill of the bridge was a killer though. What would you do differently?: Couldn't really push it much. Couldn't really push off hard with my left leg. Post race
Warm down: Walking around, little stretching, rehydrating. What limited your ability to perform faster: Injured calf last week after another triathlon. Still very tight and painful with running. Event comments: This race was supposed to be held in the beginning of September but was postponed due to the hurricanes. It was really sad to see the big Lake Worth Pier broken in 3 pieces over the ocean. It took a huge hit during the storms. Last updated: 2004-10-13 12:00 AM

Get kids set up with their volunteer stuff, potty stops, pick up packet, get transition area set up.
Stretching, VERY little swim just to warm up. No jogging because of calf problem.
