pssssssst. Trixie. Thanks for the support. ;-)

I haven't been to the restraunt either...been to the market several times, though.

One would think with all this talk of food and Zingermans that we would be anything but triathletes!

I'm so jealous! I'm a former Ann Arborite now living in San Diego. Can't make it in for the Turkey Trot or Zingermans, but I'm sure you guys will have a blast! Have a big fat corned beef sandwich for me!

Blue Rover,

they mail deliver.  When I had my ankle surgery, one of my clients had a 'meat bouquet' sent to me.  Think of my suprise, lean corned beef, right at my doorstep.

I was pretty seriously kicking around heading over, especially with all this talk of food. Unfortunately, I'm officially not able to make it.

But you all have yourselves a good time, and grab a hunk of cheese for me.

Thanks, fromer, for getting us rounded-up.

FYI - 3D Racing posted their 2005 Tri calender yesterday :

http://www.3disciplines.com/calendar.html#june

I've done both Seahorse - very cool, but tough, and Big Fish, which offers a mighty tough bike segment. The Grand Haven Tri is a new event. From what I gather, there will be one more Tri added before Thanksgiving.

Trixie, something tells me that a slow 3 miler for you is still pretty fast...

So how are we going to pull this off? Ideas? I've never been to this park so I can't suggest a meeting place...I've met Gary, but he's not a definitive "yes" yet.

I don't have cell phone. Bah. Don't believe in such things.

I'm very pumped about the race...more excited though about meeting everyone!

Is charles81 out there anywhere? Are you familiar with the area?  I know how to get there from my house (M-52) but I couldn't pick a meeting place, as I'm not that familiar with the area.  I know there is a nice city park in the middle of Pinckney we could meet at or we could meet at the race and carpool to the restaurant.  Whatcha think?

I actually never been there. Its not even actually in Ann Arbor, more like in Dexter =p But yeah, with my body condition right now, IT band pain on right knee, side hip pain(from running 2 days ago), sprained wrist(from bike crash yesterday)....I'm probably not running. I can't even turn the car ignition key to get to the place!!! =(

Sorry for the whining.....

How about someone make a good sized "BT" sign and place it near the registration area or to the side of the start line or SOMETHING????????????????

OK. I'll be the DORK with the sign.

I'm going to be spending Saturday night in AA anways. I'll get to the site early Sunday morning and set something blatently obvious up.

I want to be there early anways as I don't want to miss anyone's race!

IF THE SHOE FITS??????????  j/k Greg

It looks like they have race day registration and packet pick-up.  Why not set up somewhere near there?

If someone misses that, we'll just meet at Zingermans at ????? 12:30????  Ask for the group from BT???

Did someone make reservations yet?

I was just gonna register that day - no chance of this race selling out is there?

You're in charge Greg (Trixie won the popular vote, but you got the electoral votes! ) - give us the FINAL orders!!!!!

There is a chance I won't be able to make it. I have out of town guests coming in this weekend and not exactly sure what their plans are for on Sunday. I will know later near the end of this week.

Ouch!

OK. Charles is responsible for getting 12:30PM (sound OK?) reservations at Zingermans (the RESTRAUNT).

Oh. And do try and make it Jody! I need advice on a bike trainer! ;-)

Hey! I thought I was in charge! Don't be questioning my leadership! ;-)

I can give Charles a lift to the race if he can't drive and wants to come. I know AA pretty well and will be staying there anyways, Saturday night. Interested Charles?

As far as YOU, Gary. With all this "talk" you've been doing...you'd better be in. (I could make a dig about "representation" but I don't have time. Damn.) ;-)

I think Daryll is also a strong possiblity. But he won't run due to injury.
