Subject: pain outside edge of feet?
I have experenced a great deal of pain on the outside edge of both feet during 2 of the last 3 runs the pain is behind the small toe on the outer edge of the foot.  I have been adding miles and run time, the shoes are fairly new 150 miles, no other leg pain.  Any ideas?

bunionette perhaps?

(a bump that develops on the outside of the foot, near the base of the fifth toe - Bunionettes can develop for several reasons, but a biomechanical abnormality (improper function of the foot) is the most common cause)

Bump pain at the site of the bony enlargement on the side of the foot may develop. Or a painful bursa may develop at that site. This is particularly true in tight shoes.

Is it localized to one particular spot, or is it along the edge of your foot? I know that when my shoes are laced too tightly, the outside of my feet will hurt after a little while.

It is located along the outside edge just behind the little toe and extending ack about 1.5 inches.
