Comments: Generally, did my 30 minute run/3 minute walk routine I plan to do at my marathon in six weeks, though not exactly...tried to use the walks on one of the many hills. Disaster sruck between miles 8-10 when I developed major GI issues which took me of the course for at least 8-10 minutes total. Couldn't eat or drink for last 4 miles out of fear. What would you do differently?: Will try an all liquid breakfast next time. Post race
Warm down: hit port-o-let Begged people for their water since they ran out. What limited your ability to perform faster: GI distress Event comments: Good food afterward which I couldnt eat. Not enough water or toilets. Course was hard, even for experienced runners. Last updated: 2004-10-26 12:00 AM
