Swim
Comments: Very difficult to get comfortable for the first 200 yards or so. A lot of water was coming into my mouth from other people splashing or just the movement of the water. What would you do differently?: Set expectations for a rocky start. Try to relax more Transition 1
Bike
Comments: First time ever to bike on a completely wet surface! Had to turn and corner really slow. It was fun being able to see, my wife Sarah, on the bike, despite that fact that she was competing in the women's tri. What would you do differently?: Push a little hard on flats and downhills. DRINK MORE. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I was really fatigued after the bike. I slowed down a fair amount the last mile. I was passed by about 5 people in the last mile. What would you do differently?: Save a little energy on the bike for the run Post race
Warm down: A little strenching, but mainly waiting for Sarah to finish. Talking with Miranda and Mrs. Hail. What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim, and end of the run Event comments: Great race Last updated: 2004-11-03 12:00 AM
