Subject: Infinit Nutrition - Amazing product & Customer Service!

So many times on BT and in my life outside of tri, I've read/heard stories of customer service gone wrong, so I wanted to share a great customer serivce story.

Based on the amazing comments about Infinit on BT, I decided to try it.  Unfortunately, my custom blend was kicking my acid reflux into a tailspin.  I sent them an email about my problem and within 10 minutes recieved a response from Michael Folan, the President of Infinit, saying that he would rework my formula!  Yep, 10 minutes, talk about customer service!  He credited my account so I could re-order the new blend at no charge and told me if the new version did not work-out they would continue to work on it for me.  The great news is that the new formula has been wonderful, I love my Infinit! 

I'm thrilled to have found a company that has a great product and is willing to stand behind it.  Just wanted to give Infinit huge props for their amazing product and customer service!

I'll jump in as well. I don't use Infinit all the time, but I really like it for long training rides and long races. An excellent product and a stand-up company.

I love it, and used it for long training days and for my 2 races this year.  I still have some left and enjoy drinking it as a regular every day drink.

InfinIT1 and InfinIT2 are cool guys, too!

Very cool people. I have spoken with Michael on 2 or 3 occasions and he has always been helpful and had time for  me to ask dumb questions. Plus it works like a champ!!

That's nice to know. I thought about trying my own formula, but figured it was to much of a PIA and thought I could end up with a $35 can of garbage, so I went with the Mark Allen formula which seems fine on my long rides/runs at this point. Might consider making my own up next order.

I too use the custom Infinite formula on anything over 1:30 hrs. I came to Infinite after having jprob. with gels (all kinds) and found that it works great and up to about 3 or 4 hours I don't need anything else but water and after 4 hrs I use with solid stuff like fig newtons. But the people at Infinite have always been really helpful both on the phone and whe I have seen them at the races. I recommend it to everone.

I have been an Infinit user for a while now, and will be taking it with me on the bike for IMFL.  Always get a quick response from them - awesome customer service and very nice people.   They stand behind their product 100%.   I'll use it as long as I do endurance events.

Hey all, someone e-mailed me to take a look at this thread. Wow, thanks so much for the props. As a long time triathlete myself, it is so cool to hear how the product is working for people. It makes all the hard work worthwhile for sure. The company is doing very well; we have some big projects coming up over the next few months and that is very exciting. Australia will be up and running by the end of the month, Europe continues to grow and out Canadian have a good chance to be the official product of some of the Olympic teams. All good!

I got back from Hawaii last week, had a ball. Our athletes did great and we picked up a few more large coaching groups we will be working with. Started training again, going to make my race debut at the TTT next year after a 3 year hiatus. I have not swam a stroke since Hawaii '04, that is going to be fun. :0

Anyway, if there is anything we can do just let us know. We are growing so fast that some times it is hard to keep up so this type of comment is good to hear. For those of you who might not be 100% happy with your current nutrition this is the perfect time of year to experiment. Any questions you can post here and I will check back.

I just heard about this product 2 days ago from a friend who had nothing but great things to say about it.  Now that there's a special going on, I'm going to give it a shot.  All the great things I hear about not only the product, but with the customer service makes me confident it's going to be something I'll be happy with.

I just e-mailed them with questions about the product.  I'm looking for something to get me through Ironman training and racing for next year.  Nutrition has been very difficult for me and I hope this is the answer.

Just received this from Michael! Thanks again for all the Kudo's!! I will just try to add to Michaels post and let you guys know that if there is anything you need to make training and racing better just let us know. We will periodically lurk in here to see the hubub but try not to post unless we have some news or comments to share.

It was good meeting a bunch of you guys out at the races this year. Finally- putting screen names with faces-haha!!! Look forward to meeting more of you next year!
