Comments:

Aim just to complete it as didn't do any staircase climbing or running up hills.
What would you do differently?:

Push harder, didn't try to exert myself or pace myself too much cause it was my first attempt didn,t quite know what to expect and if I can make it to the top so just want to complete it

73 floors in just over 11 minutes? NICE JOB!

And you want to do this next year in under 10? What am I missing here - are you going up on an elevator?

That looks like pure torture!

Before I attempted it my first vertical marathon(stair climbing), I thought that it was crazy to do 73 floors.
The floors just keep passing by and before you know it, it's all over in 10 over mins or so
In a triathlon, you have to endure hours of pleasure before reaching the finish line
You get a great deal of satisfaction doing it.Unfortunately it's only once a year and there's no taller building here to conquer.....

The winner of the race came in at 7mins 30 something seconds I think and the current guiness book of records for the swisstol vertical marathon stands at 6mins 55 seconds.
Even the local TV celebrities(Lu Jiang, zhong qing) took part in it and came in at 14 mins 30 sec, so it is possible to do it, you just have to tri.....
