need some cheap IMLP Lodging

_{In town, you are generally looking at 5-7 night minimum stays.  Outside of town, maybe 4 night min. if not up to 7 nights again.  Wilmington is on the bike course and has cheap(er) motels.  Saranac Lake which is about 10 miles from LP, is not on the course is another option.  Almost everything is booked right now and there are still athletes looking for places to stay I'm sure.  Some hotel rooms will open up after the partial refund date.  What did happen, at least in 07 was that those 5 night min. went away and became 3 nights about a week or two before the race, for those properties with openings.  But on that weekend, other than a campsite, there will be nothing less than 100-200 per night within 30 minutes of LP.  Plattsburgh is another option, maybe 1 hour or so from LP?, if you're willing to drive a lot.}
