Comments: Pretty challenging course. The first mile is slightly downhill. The second is slightly up. The next 5-6 miles are rolling with some pretty steep uphill sections. Tried to keep my HR in the low 170's for the first half. I let it climb a bit on the hills. At the halfway point, I let it wander a little higher and then kept it around LT for the last 2 miles. What would you do differently?: Not much. I think I ran it as well as I could right now. Post race
Warm down: Got some liquids and waited for friends to come in. What limited your ability to perform faster: Still in the early phases of speed and tempo work. I should come close to matching this pace for the 20k that's next in the series. Last updated: 2007-10-19 12:00 AM
