Subject: Buy a Zipp 404 and get a Free Zipp Disc!!

You can choose from a either an almost new 404 dimpled front or a used but still great shape 404 front without dimples and I will include a rear 700 tubular Shimano Zipp disc. I just bought the disc from someone and I have not used it. I bought it as a pair and I needed the 808 front. The disc does have some scratches on the brake surface. The disc is true and the hub spins very smooth and will be a good wheel for someone who can use it.

Dimpled 404 with Disc $1000 shipped

Without dimples 404 with disc $850 shipped

Brand new 404s without tires are $950. This wheel is almost brand new and has a tire already glued on. Basically you are buying a 404 and getting the disc for free.

I have had lots of questions on the disk so I will try to post some more info here on all 3 wheels currently for sale.

The disc I purchased from someone who was selling an 808/disc combo. I do not need another disc as I just sold a Renn clincher and tubular here last week. The wheel is true and the hub is very smooth. This wheel is not perfect though cosmetically. The wheel does have some scratches and the brake surface has been scratched in some spots. The brake surface is smooth though and I do not get any pulsing or grabbing with the brake. The tire is in great shape.

The dimpled 404 I really do not see a single flaw with it except maybe a little glue iresidue from the tire. I do not think that you would know the difference between this and brand new except that this already has one of the best tires out there on it a Continental Comp. Wheel and tire uder 200 miles probably less.

The 404 non dimpled is in great shape. It does have some small scratches but again for 4 years old it is in great shape. Wheel is true and hub is also smooth but not as smooth as the disc. It has a continental sprinter tire with less than 100 miles on it. I think I only used it after the new tire for one 1/2, and a olympic.

Any combo would be great. The disc is not a bad wheel by any means I just do not want someone to think that it will be perfect and then feel mislead when they get it and see some cosmetic blemishes.

I will have even more pics tomorrow but this dial up is taking way to long to upload photos. So far most of the blems are not showing up very well.
