My right goggle leaked for some reason. It was the first time this happened to me. That slowed me down a little because I stopped to drain it twice. I also started my heart monitor late (4 minutes into the swim.) I also think that the fact that I have only been swimming for a month affected my time.

I should have put on my helmet as I was taking my wetsuit off.

I screwed this one up. For some reason I tried to rack my back with my handlebars towards the rack. This did not work for me and it took me a moment to realize that I needed to turn the bike around! I think I wasted 20 seconds doing that.

The uphill was killer. However, the downhill was like heaven. I let gravity take me down. I also sprinted the last part of it.
