Comments: I took someone's advice on BT that said when you approach the water station, actually stop to drink the water instead of having it slosh all over the place and not get in your mouth. I found that really worked for me. I felt great at the start, I started pretty slow and eased my way into it, instead of taking off like a jackrabbit. Started to get tired about the last mile or so. What would you do differently?: Eat more nutrition and hydrate myself better!!!! I need to do this every time, it's just so hard to eat/drink at 6 a.m. when you're not hungry/thirsty. Post race

woke up at 5:30 a.m. and had a banana and some OJ in the car on the way to the race...
Stretched and walked around for like 40 minutes, since the race ended up starting later than the registration form said!
