  • Comments: This was a great race. Location was awesome, parking was stellar. The only complaint I had was the lack of nutritious Vegetarian post food options. It was suggested I have an iceberg lettuce and salsa wrap... Oh well, Jamie and I got Chipotle afterwards which helped a ton :) Got to meet Michael and that was great. Even watched him receive his award for making podium! Hope to run into him more in the future!

  • Comments: Will do again and highly recommend for anyone willing to make the race. With a 0800 start time it's perfect for the family. The hotel was 7 minutes away and had a great breakfast.

  • Comments: A great course, excellent parking, good food after (except for limited veggie options for those so inclined). I really loved the dam, both riding and running. And the swim was great; the water was clear and the perfect temperature. I'll definitely do this again next year!

  • Comments: I liked this race a lot. Of course, the longer swim makes it very challenging for folks like me (and what I mean by `folks like me' is `folks who cannot swim') to make headway against the fast swimmers. I lost 5 minutes (ouch!) on the swim to the #1 open master's guy (and nearly 3 minutes to #2). We were otherwise quite even. So, right now the difference between the top and me is swimming. I can't hide from that reality.
