Subject: Another swim kick post At some point today, Hudnick posted a question about the swim kick generating in the hips. auto208562 posted a link to an article about swim kicks, and I would have posted this as a reply to that post, but it doesn't entirely relate and I didn't want to overtake the thread. SO...I hope no one minds the new thread.
SO FINALLY, my question is...in the article that auto208562 posted, it says the following:
"Start slowly with a 2- or 4-beat kick, then throw in a 6-beat kick every few laps."
Please explain to a swimming illiterate runner what it means to kick to a beat
