Do you guys follow the same nutrition plan when you bike outdoors as when you bike indoors on the trainer for 3+ hrs?  I'm forced to train for my IM indoors now because there is going to be TOO few warm days here in Michigan before IMCDA.

I read the post on the Half IM nutrition plan...and I wonder if you guys do the same thing on the trainer?

I'm GUESSING I had a nutritional issue last week during my long ride when I "lost" my strength for about 30 minutes in the middle of the 3.5hr ride.  So I trying to get some ideas.

Thanks

In short, yes.

But keep in mind, you'll most likely have to fuel a bit earlier on the trainer than you would on a ride because on the trainer you're going non-stop and a constant HR.
