Lets make this the official thread.   I'm 95 % sure I'll be running the full.

"Tukwila to Seattle

Both courses begin at Foster Golf Links in Tukwila.  Participants will run along the shores of Lake Washington before taking in beautiful views of Puget Sound and downtown Seattle.  Both courses will finish outside of Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks.

Stay Tuned! The Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle Marathon & ½ Marathon courses are still being finalized.  A course announcement will be made in the upcoming months."

From the website......hope they get it finalized sooner than later.

Wow. Thats the most expensive entry fee for a running event I've ever seen.

I had wanted to do this race but Lake Padden is the same day.

The day they announced that it was going to be in Seattle they did 1/2 price entry fees so luckily most of us only paid $40.

i really want to do the half, just because this seems like a fun thing to do.  . i don't know if i'll be recovered by then from boise 70.3. . i could always race it 'easy'  . . HA! i could never do that   i will prolly sign up for the half.  .

Edit: NM, its 1 week after boise, i will not be recovered

Looks scenic, two different waterfronts, downtown and the profile......challenging.

Does anyone else think that running on a Saturday in Seattle will be challenging?  as compared to a quiet Sunday morning..

I registered for the half just the other day.  This will be my first and it's also my first season of other events.  I'm looking forward to them all and nervous at the same time.

I am in corral 21.  I might change to run a little bit faster.....stay tuned.

I just wish they had shuttles from park n rides all over. That would be super nice.  Anybody want to attempt a meetup either at expo or after the run?  I am planning to stay and cheer on my friends running both distances.

(Edit:  I just looked up my sister's corral and she is #2 with a 1:40 finish prediction.  Brat!)

We are hitting the expo Friday afternoon and looking forward to Keb Mo. Are you guys going?

That's maybe when I am going to go. Maybe.  Gotta work out some details.    Not going Thursday--especially during a Mariners game!

There are 2 RnR threads so I will post in both.  Who is going to the concert at Marymoor on Sat night?  Should we attempt to have a meetup?

I am not going to the concert.  If any body on the board wants my number to get someone else in let me know.

I picked my packet up today.  What a zoo.  With the M's game at the same time it was a mess.  The expo was good, I would have liked to spend a little more time.  It was easy to change corals, if you need to do it.  I am in 21.
