Subject: wish me luck
I just started my 20 week olympic training program this past monday!

Feels good to be getting back into it again. Can't wait till I actually feel like i'm rounding into race form.

Funny how fear of pain is my main motivation for sticking to this program. Just thinking of the 10k run at Mrs. T's while knowing i have the training to back it up makes me smile. (and being able to smoke my freinds who are doing it too!)

Fear and pain as motivators!?!  Hmmmmm ... to each his own.  Try to find something that you like about each  discipline and let that inspire you.  I used to hate swimming and was quite terrible at it last season.  This season I made it a point to go for a swim every morning (or almost) before work and now I feel terrible if I don't start my work day without doing a few laps.  All that to say, enjoy ... and good luck.
