Dar89 $550.00 goes to the Ironman folks, the $26.00 is the processing fee etc. charged by Active for running the registration.

OK - supid question here.  What is this "final registration" email referred to and who does it come from?  Is there more than one email with the registration details?

I still haven't gotten my email. Should I be worried?

Right.  I was charged $576 at the on-site registration (550+26).  When completing the registration this morning, Active charged me $26.  Did you have to enter CC info for your final registration?

I got charged another $26 by active when I registered this morning as well.  Did you get any response when you sent the e-mail?

Were you an on-site registree, or on the web?  I would assume if you registered on line after noon last Monday that maybe you wouldn't need the follow up email.  However, you could ask questions to [email protected].

And for those who registered online and are wondering if they get another email. I registered onsite and got the email today, of course. A friend registered online. Her name was not in the drop down list of people needing to complete their registration at active.com. I assume this means there's nothing more for her to do.

I received a refund notification from Active as well.  As stated:

You have been refunded the amount of $26 for 2010 Ford Ironman Wisconsin.

Please allow up 5 business days for this refund to show up in your account.

Yep, I'm just worrying about nothin'.

For the people who double payed the $26 in the instructions that were included on the on site confirmation sheet, it says when you go to active, to register as "on site" which indicates you already paid. Since I haven't done it yet, I don't know if this would take care of it.

I just checked my email and got the same refund notification $26 more dollars saved towards new stuff on my wish list

     Glad you are getting the $26 back.  I was only charged an extra $10 when I finished my registration today.  This is for the one day USAT license.

I'm official now. I dug up my confirmation letter and went directly to the active site and got it all finished.

I'm in for round 2!

Ok, now i am really worried.  Active refunded me $550.  Does that mean I am no longer registered?

Let me know what you find out,  they did the same for me.

I am in for 2010 myself. Quite excited!

I've got a note into IMWI and the Active, but have not heard from either.  All I can say is my credit card was not charged a dime.  Did you check yours?

I was refunded $26 because they overcharged me...perhaps they accidentally overcharged you folks? Could you check your CC statements to see if there are two charges on there?

Ok, so here is the weird thing.  An hour ago, my CC posted the 9/14 onsite charge of $576.  Guess I will have to wait to see if things get reversed out in the next few days.  I hope not.

I got a response from Active. I'm in.  I think they charged some of us onsite and then again online.  The reversal appears to be from the onsite registration although I have yet to see it on my CC.
