But the way I heard it was that if you take an elite swimmer and take, say, an elite marathoner and compare them, the swimmer with have very slightly higher body fat. However it should be noted (if my memory serves me right ) that the body fat was not deposited in the usual way you see, but rather subcutaneously all over the body. It simply resulted in a less chiseled look.
My basic point is that I have heard that before, but always thought it was a rumor. And if it isn't, it isn't going to add pounds and pounds of fat to your body, just a light layer. Its not like Grant Hackett looks fat, you know? |
