courtney_leone - 2005-07-07 12:26 PM Hey Joe, I got the job! Its not my ideal job, but its a great place and has benefits....BENEFITS! Finally! Okay, I'm going to go run. Finally!

Congrats! Now you'll be able to get a REAL bike!

And I suppose you're right - you should finally go running...

Running at 2:30pm under the blazing Texas sun.....never again. Anyway, score for Team Coeur de Lion. Strike 1 for Team Loss. Or is it already strike 3?

Where do you figure strike 3, when I've got over 6 times as many bike miles as you?  I presume you went to a public school?

courtney_leone - 2005-07-07 2:09 PM  Do we have the SAME goals?

Obviously not - my goal is good solid training.

 Are we the SAME person?

No - ducks don't look good in pink.

 Your point is moot.

Did you get that line from Bill O'Reilly?

To quote Russell Crowe, as Maximus, in Gladiator:

Are you not entertained?  ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!

I hereby retire from the smack-talk arena, with nary a scratch on me.  Team Hoss, I can scratch of that smack-talk goal on my list - mission accomplished!

That's right, scurry off with your tail between your legs as the big dog shows up. Your attempts at humor were almost as intelligent as bringing a spoon to a gun fight.

I see that you had plenty of time to sit at your computer, attempting to come up with some semi-humorous banter, while I was out logging miles. Sad. So sad.

Anyone else want to try and take a poke?

I don't start the fights. I finish them. JUST BRING IT!!!

GO TENS!!!!!!!!!!

You can't take all the credit, duckman. I showed up and everyone (you included) ran away.

All afraid..........too bad.

Here I am, Brent. Where'd you go? And I'm waiting for you, Joe.

"Ran away" - that's a good one.  At least I'm making my goals this month, and don't have to include any race mileage.  Are you ever going to fix your avatar?  Or is that you riding into a cave?

Courtney - I saw your note in the 'hotties' thread.  Unfortunately, waiting might not be an option, since we are both taken.    But it's nice to see you're finally in double-digits on your bike!  Lemme know when you hit triple-digits...

Excuse me, what on earth do you think I'm waiting for? Tell me, I'm mildly interested.

This month's hotties thread - do you deny that you wrote this:

"I think the duck appeals to me more "

I find it kinda arrogant naming a team after myself (cuddly lions, or something like that). Too bad you're bring up the rear.

Is your bike fixed yet, Courtney? It must still be in the shop with your numbers......

Brent, just a guess, but you're single, aren't you?  I ask, because you probably shouldn't talk smack to a chick that's done almost TWICE as much swimming as you have this month...

Oh, I won't mess with you.  I'd be afraid to slow my bike down that much to even try.  How do you stay balanced at those slow speeds?  I guess it's a good thing you bought that new helmet...
