I am going to try out the "Athlete Tracker" thingamabob that you wear on your race belt so that it can track your position on the course via cell towers. My expectations on it working well are pretty low, but it is worth a shot in that it is pretty difficult for family members to spectate during the day as all 2500 participants dressed in spandex tend to start looking alike.
