Beat my time by over 21 minutes!!

One of my big goals of this season was to beat my time of my first triathlon. I did Try the Tri a sprint  in Briston RI last Sept and finished and was excited for that...I knew I had a lot of room to improve. I had hoped to beat my time by 20 minutes.

Today I did it and I beat my time from last year by 21 minutes and 42 seconds!! I PRed my 5K time by a big second compared to my race 10 days ago. My bike mph was the best ever in a race...swim was good for the 3 foot ocean waves.  I, the slug, am faster! I passed so many people (both men and women) on the bike (thanks June bike challenge!) and was only passed by one women on the bike. Most of them in turn passed me on the run...I improved over 5 minutes in the swim...almost 10 in the bike, and over 4 in the run, plus both my transtions were less than half of what they were last year!! I put my RR up.

I actually raced with other people...often I am alone on the bike and run course. It was fun...and I'm so thankful to BT for all the things I have learned over the last year.
