Subject: OWS in NY area (again)
Planning on doing an OWS sometime next week. We want to go on a Wednesday, but the beaches up at Harriman don't officially open until 10a. We need to be swimming by, like, 8. Does anyone know if there are rangers floating around to tell you to get out of the water? (Like, can we just show up early and swim on our own?).

We were thinking of going to Welch or Sebago. But, given the timing restrictions, anyone know of any other good OWS spots we could go to? Thanks!
