Member  53  Montreal |  Subject: Help!!! i need to know if this is a good deal!Hey everyone. i tried posting this in the tri-talk thread but no bites. I have the chance to get a 2001 Cannondale Multisport 5000si for about 1200 USD. The bike is described as being in "excellent condition". A few facts 1) this will be my first and only bike. (i don't own a road bike) 2) he says there are between 4000 and 5000 km on the bike but doesn't know for sure 3) the bike is a 54cm and i'm 5,9 so the fit should be good. please advise!!! i'm worried it will go fast and i have an appointment to see it tomorow! peace love and respect Scott |

It looks like the same model is going for about $4-5k usd for this years. Sounds like a high end bike with great groupo. I have D/A and love it~absolutely not a thing to complain about there. Sounds like a deal. Take it for a spin and that's what sold me on mine. Could not live without it! |
