SE Michigan Ride - Sat, 7/30 (Page 2)

OK, so far, here's the tally:

Trix - I appoint you ridemaster.  Figure out where we're meeting and riding, post it here.  I don't know kensington OR island lake, so this is yours. 

Tentative plan:  8:30 arrival, 9AM start, bail when you want, we'll try to do a loop so people can peel off if they want.  Big Boy for anyone interested afterward.  Except Tizzle, she's goin' shootin!!

Trix - is still working the ride venue.  Still looking at 8:30 arrival, 9AM start. I plan 40 or 50, further if the legs hold out...I don't know if I can hang with Big Dog, of course.  Us old cats might need a 1 hour headstart. 

Is there a specific place we're meeting? I've never been there either.

The ride is at Kensington Metro Park near Milford, MI about 40 miles northwest of Detroit.

I would like to try and make it if possible. How's that for definitive?  

Interested in that bike-run-ewww thing.  I'm callin it a BREW. Yeah, its also a bike-run-beer.  (No Rick, NOT a bike-run-sheep) 

Just make sure 20 years from now, when people are discussing where that term came from, y'all tell em where ya heard it first

i'm gonna drive out there tomorrow or friday and i'll find a place to meet as well as a loop that we can all do at least once then people can drop off at will.  it may not be much in the parks though, i'm on a recon mission and i WILL succeed.  and rick, i'm serious when i say SLOW.  my legs might not even work after can you carry me?  it'll be a great workout.

I've got one of those crazy World's Strongest Men's harnesses that they use to pull the locomotives.  I'll just hitch ya up.    Slow is great, I've got 14 on Sunday and I'm not looking to torch EVERY muscle fiber on Saturday....
