Comments: As mentioned earlier, preparation for the race was pretty bad. Evening with friends the night before that ended too late. A bit of anxiety at the beginning of the swim and had difficulty to get a good rythm. Water was a little choppy, so sighting was more difficult than previous races. What would you do differently?: GO to bed earlier Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: fatigue Event comments: Dissapointed by my times, but I definitely know why. This was a training race for me to get redy for my Oly distance swim next month. SO I acheived my goal of practicing OWS. Can't wait to be allowed to waer my wetsuit! Not the best pre-race routine. Went to bed quite late the night before since long time friends came to visit. All night I said, it's onyl 2km swim in the morning, no sweat, lets have another beer. This was not a good idea. So I didn't feel that great when I woke up.
