I've always done my open water swims in a lake and it looks like this is the ocean, so I'm a little concerned about that... It's perfect for a first olympic race!! It was my first olympic and ocean swim. The water wasn't rough at all because it was in the bay. You don't have to worry about any breakers or anything like that. I thought it was very similiar to the lake, except for the salt taste I got in my mouth. |

There are a ton of Atlanta people going down to St. A's with Team in Training ... somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 at this point. From what I have heard from the TNT veterans, St. A's is a top tier, well run race with a huge following ... so much so that it sells out quickly. Expect some ~3800 participants. Hotels, I believe, are also at a premium. Hope to see you there! |

I can't believe that most of the places to stay are full - it's great that many people participate every year, though! I'm glad I started planning my calendar early - I didn't realize so many races sold out so quickly! |

They have so many TNT'ers doing St. Anthony's this year the Atlanta TNT office sent us TNT alumni an email today asking us to register for the event on our own. Apparently they don't have enough slots for all the GA TNT'ers for the event. Wow! |

The registration link is not yet active, won't be until 9am Dec 1. Active.com lists the tri but says "Registration opens on December 1st at 9AM. Log on to http://satriathlon.com.Register early as event filled last year in 24 hours." So my best guess is to register at www.satriathlon.com. |
