Gooood morning BTers!  Whatcha got going on today?

I'm heading out on White Lightening (fastest lil' cyclocross in the desert! Wink) dropping my swim bag off at the outdoor pool that isn't open yet, doing my ride which includes an excellent climb, which I just may do twice, and then coming back by the pool, stopping in and doing 2,000m.  The beauty of living in a small town...the lifegaurds will see my bag and go 'it's that crazy Mrs. R's stuff...she'll be back!'

Have an excellent hump day!

Group ride planned for this evening.  Bought some Saucony Kinvara 2's last night that I am dying to try out but I had weird chest pains during my longer run portion last night so I didn't run in my new shoes.

50miles to work, 50 miles back, the good news is that the hills are somehow shrinking and the distance is getting shorter.

I was only a tiny bit sore yesterday, but after having yesterday as a rest day, I feel GREAT today.  Going for my "long" run today...just under 2 miles...hoping I can "hump" it out without walking! :D I'm excited because it's my first outdoor run.

Mornin'!

("The humpty dance, is the chance, to do the hump!")

This morning, swam 1500 yds.  200 w/u, 12x100, 100 c/d.

Tonight, short workout at the Y.

Tomorrow, another short Y workout, since I have a day off from work.  I have an appointment with my pulmonologist in the afternoon; need a 4-letter word with him re. the fact that my asthma is NOT BEING REGULATED, despite the meds and tests.

Short workouts, coasting into Saturday's sprint tri.

Did one hour on the bike today.  I'm still testing out the Cobb V Flow Plus.  I dropped the nose a little and went out.  After 20 minutes I realized that in aero position I was on the very front of the saddle so I stopped and moved it back a little as I was too far forward.  I have been getting a little pain below my knee so I also raised the seat up a little.  Went back out and felt much better.  I'll give it another try on Friday, but I think I'm starting to like it.

Swim night, I haven't decided if it is a long or short one today. Probably work on breathing, since it seems to be a somewhat important aspect of swimming

Ahhh, rest day.  New to training, so I have two rest days per week until my body gets a bit more used to it all.

Swim tonight.  May try an OWS or back to the Y.  Either way I stink at swimming.  Still trying to do more than one lap at a time before needing a break.

Took it easy Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday cuz I was doing a lot and not getting enough sleep.  Feel 10x better today so I'll be ramping it up again towards the end of the week.

4.5 miles run this morning, got an hour bike ride after work today. Should be fun if the weather cooperates. If not, it'll be wet and fun.

Just got back from 2 hours on the bike. I hate going at 5:30 after work. Only 31 miles, spent way too much time dealing with traffic, lights, and dodging people out for a stroll on the bike path. City life!

I as supposed to do a 1500m swim this morning. Got to the pool on Post and found that it as closed!  and I ran and biked yesterday and have a long run tomorrow. So i did strength training for 70 minutes, full body and core.  Still pissed about the pool though!  My day just went down from there.
