Pre-race routine:

Walked with a relative, Brent, from my house up to the starting line. Registered and chatted with our friend Becky and the Boones until the race began.

Nothing. I think it works best for me.

Comments:

I loved that they moved this race from Liberty Park to the streets of uptown Hillsboro. They had triple the participants from last year and people could cheer for you from their porches.

What would you do differently?:

I was much faster than I'd expected. I would have to say run with Brent again.

Just walked back to my house with Brent, shot some more photos of other events at the festival and then went grocery shopping.

Course:	Winding racers through the beautiful streets of Hillsboro, there were approximately four to five good inclines on the course. If you can run this course two times in a row, you can do the Flying Pig.
