He recommends the same thing that worked for me which is brief tabata type intervals and he gives some sample cycling intervals. he also recommends weight training to prevent muscle loss. Just so you can manage your expectations: You're not likely to lose weight and increase power concurrently if you're restricting calories at the same time. To answer the question in the subject. I would recommend running or cycling combined with weight training, but not swimming for weight loss. |
